I say stay away from anything over 18's. Make you handle like shit when it rubs everything.
I myself am buying 17'' mesh gunmetal BLACK wheels with deep brushed aluminium lip.

i have stock 17"s brushed aluminum....there ok two of my friends have been fighting over who gets them..... matt won he's trading me his 15" temparily and 92' honda prelude it's all right and i have some one who wants to buy it for 2g's already.... it's nothing special 16v auto purple with a bodykit.....whatever hey it's a pretty even trade as far as i'm concerned..... my little bro had a jetta that he lowered and the 19"s he bought fit like total crap.....so i'm thinking 18' anyway...

I would go with the 18s also. Bigger is not always better unless its super sizing your fries a McDonalds.

everybody that knows me will know what i'm going to say.....stay w/ the 17" and get them lighter than the stock ones...forged aluminum....and the car is german..so look at some HRE's or or kinesis motorsport K5's they are 5 star and come in gunmetal and only weigh 17 lbs for a 17x8 wheel and are avilable in a ton of offsets for that huge lip....which is polished i think they would look sick on your car

I drift golf carts at my work all the time. You have to pick up lots of speed though.
Id go with 17s, but if they look too small go with 18s.

Hey Lewis, think you can borrow one of the CTS type v's and we can do some real drifting? Meg, when are you getting your rims?

17"is your best bet. If you go with anything much bigger, your going to sacrifice performance, and handling. If you decide you want to upgrade to a 19-20" rim, bear in mind that you will be drastically reducing your daily drivability, along with your performance and handling. You will also likely develop curb rash, cracks, scratches, and even possibly dents in your wheels much easier than if it were a smaller size.
