2 years ago when I purchased my Laser I immediately installed Power Slot rotors and Hawk brake pads.
Installation is a 10. Easy as your factory rotors and pads although it's a bit tighter fit between the rotor and pad. When you first put them on though beware because they have a protective zinc coating on them that wears off after a day or two but won't allow the pads to bite and reduce braking.
9 out of 10 on the rotors. These rotors will take a lot of abuse and fade is non-existent unless you slam on the brakes at 120mph. They're not as smooth feeling as stock rotors and have almost a grinding feel to them but it's not bothersom.
9 out of 10 on the pads. They're strong, make little dust, and I've had the same set on for 2 years now and have maybe another year left.
In the long run they're cheaper than stock stuff and needed if you visit the track regularly. Unless your car is a track car this is all you need, except maybe some braided lines.

96 Prelude, 9 on the rotors and I will give the Hawk pads a 7. I would rate the EBC Green Stuff pads at a 9 for street pads. I like the EBC pads better because the initial bite is much harder than the Hawk pads and are great for quick jabs on the brakes.
