So, I get in the school parking lot. I got down this line and find a good spot. I see a kid I know in his truck just sitting there, I look at him for a second then I start to pull in the spot. All of a sudden he opens his door and I hear a sick crunch.
The front right headlight, bumper, and hood are all messed up. Also the ac coolant or something sprayed itself dry. His door is messed up, dinged and pushed in a bit. Also wont close all the way. Then again, he drives a Ford F-150.
Apparantly, he didnt see me pull in. Though I am getting the blame because apparantly I was going down a wrong way line. Yet after being at this school for 3 years, I've yet to even know their were right ways to go down the lines.
Though I guess I could of figured it out my how the lines were angled.
Still, if I was going the right way, I probably would of took out his whole door, which would of damaged my car less and put the blame on him. Heh, what a world.
Here's a sweet paint image to describe the accident.
And finally, here's some pics of the car.
I'm trying to be positive about it. Technically, it could of been worse. Then again, my light, bumper, hood, and some hose or something needs to be replaced on my car. Insurance will pay it, but my rates are gonna suck now.
Not to mention I have to pay for his new door.
So I'm driving my mommies sweet Hyundai Santa Fe (also known as not my accord which I love).
But it could of been worse and the guy said I should get it back this thursday or so, right before prom.
UPDATE: I finally got my car back today, it looks good as new. I think the being away from my car for a week was enough of a punishment. I'm just happy I have it back at normal.
