DEFINATELY BETTER WITH THE 18'S!
The rubber on them is too soft for the winter though, not that i plan on driving it much, just times like now when my Honda is in the shop. I just had most of the 3000 repainted too, one of my anonomous neighbors decided to remodel my car at 3am and drive off...nice work. $4000 later, it looks not so bad...thank god for good insurance.
Carbon Fiber hood is coming soon as well, once i get my new bodywork straightened up, it's got some issues that need retouched, nothing major. It's hard to find a good shop anymore that does reputable work. Another reason i took the 18's off, they got paint on them last time, oversprayed all over the g-damn thing, f-ers, i'm a little touchy about it. Once i get my prelude back i'll put the 3000 in to have the rest of the paintwork done, and the hood installed. Might get to start my Frankenstein VR4 upgrade next year...it'll be worth waiting for once i've completed it, not that i'll ever be done by any means.

I used a highly recommended shop near Canal Winchester, they're a little less than quick, which would be perfectly fine if the quality was up to par, i'm patient and understanding, good things take time. I've got cracking and peeling paint, clear coat flaking off, orange peel all over, and the wet sanding they did was non-existant in the finish, you can still see the feathering in my fenders where it was never block sanded out...in short, it looks really shotty up close, Maaco could have cost me $3000 less for the same job. They also broke off my power antenna, which they replaced for free, can't bitch about that, but it didn't fit so they beat it into my quarter panel so hard that it buckled the steel and cracked the paint. WTF? They have ONE more chance to fix it...it'll be trip number 4...I'll keep you posted, i'm optimistic and diplomatic with them though I have low expectations, hope they can get it right this time...

Yeah, I haven't been around at all this season, I went out once and it was dead. I rolled through the lot at Hooters and down Main past Jegs, not too many peole around at midnight that night, back in late May or June..That was the last time i rolled out in the 3000 really, it's parked most of the time and i drive my Prelude to work and back. I drive at least 600 miles a week, so i try not to mile up my nicer car.. I didn't even know where the "spots" were this year, I just kinda have been off doing my own thing i guess. There are some nice open stretches of road in fairfield county I just started a new realestate business in the spring and it has been taking up most of my time, if i kept track, i've probably been working like 80 some hours a week, the market is a rough one right now...
