The intercooler is a fine size the turbo doesnt need to hook on to anything. Its held on by your exhaust manifold which is right where that turbo is sitting how much does he want for that setup? the objects on the engine are what looks like an 02 housing and a turbo.
To me, it looks like a legit well-built setup. What kind of turbo is that?

as far as the type of turbo goes....all thats mentioned is what u can see....they r garrett turbos, but they r only being used for the mock up....newer and better turbos will be used in the final product. this is only a mockup however, and an actual kit available and the prices have not been mentioned anywhere yet, but if they do, i will def keep people updated. however even just looking at this makes me salivate i think ben (toophatspitfire) would agree with me here

The manifolds on those point downward! I have a set from a 3.5! but what bothers me is the hot ass turbo being right there at the radiator! and if there hanging 1 more off the back thats just not going to work!
Now for the fix... im thinking a kit under the floor down in the channel! Cause i seen on hotrod they know have a turbo kit that goes under the back! with a remote oil pump to push the uesd oil from thr turbo back to the motor!
Or bring both down pipes up at one big turbo above the trans! at plumming would be much easyer.. or even make a header to sweep more towards the trans and making a more of a cross pipe!!! just my 2 cents!

The stock manifolds turn straight down after coming out of the head! Bad for flow!
Plus if you look at the way they cut the manifold and then set the turbo flange at a bad angle, and that so they could just fit the turbo, this is not going to be good for flow!
Build custom headers front and rear that come off the head some and then turn towards the trans!Myself I'd do twins! but depending on what room you could find or make!(relocate battery and other stuff!) Make a crossover pipe and figure where to mount the turbo! and then start plumming Id run it where the down pipe would have some room to keep from melting shit! Making heat sheilds and wrapping everything with thermo tech wrap!
And then figure out how your going to tune it! big fuel pump , injectors, and what not!

p.s. my spelling sucks! if you cant tell!

i want to build up the motor completely....but if i do i want it done right. in my dreams id love to have 2 smaller turbos, (1 on each side of the engine per 3 cyl), the only problem being all the problems with the manifold and header, the oil lines, battery relocation, custom work....but the biggest kicker is that to build up the motor i need internals which no one is even close to making for the engine yet, no cams, lower compression pistons, throttle bodies etc, so i couldnt do anything above 5psi until those things become available....so u can see all my problems, but i can dream cant I? newayz, come to quaker steak on the 20th and we shall talk about all this....

Not sure if I can make it to Qs&l , funds are very tight for me! In stock form it should take 8psi with a intercooler and a good tune, and with water injection maybe even 10-12 psi! Making the headers should not be that bad! start building them know and after looking under the hood for long enough, It can be done! Custom pistons are no problem either, I can have them made! and i'll start looking more into it myself then! Rod's im sure can be had aswell!
If you have the money you can do anything!

believe me....if i had the money i would....god i just want one to come out soon enough so i can start having some fun!
ps - gearhead: i realize nething can be done with money, but thats my other problem, i dont have any at this point....im trying to save up a lil bit, but everytime it gets spent, but im def interested to see what u can do with the custom pistons, rods, manifold, piping etc.
