hi i have seen products similar to this and i have read that thier crap i just wanted to know if u guys know any thing bout it: www.turbonator.com/WhatIsIt.htmland i just bought 2 hood scoops for my i was wondering how i should put them in the hood should i take it to a body shop and let them do it or could i cut out holes in the hood and mold them in with bondo

I've seen that thing before on tv but the only way to know if it worls I guess is to try it. The idea of it sounds good, but I don't see it as being something that really adds that much power. As for the hood scoops, go get another hood off of what ever car. Then try to do it yourself. If the result isn't what you want, then no loss to you and head for the body shop.

a friend i know...worked at a local shop, tested it on their dyno made no hp/tq gave a TINY bit of fuel economy...and i think the hood scoop thing should be in the show mod forum

But a hood scoop also provides cooling to the engine bay and can be made to be more functional. It's one of those thing that could fit in both categories, like my rims.
