So who's a good local shop to get springs and sway bar installed?
Or, if I install them myself, who will give me an alignment?

I think you should of posted this in "performance mod" section. Anyway there are several shops in towm that can do the work. But I'm sure you can find somebody with a garage to help you do the work for next to nothing. Alignment is better left to a pro, you don't want that fucked up, you may end up at the dealer on that because I dont know if any alighment shops have the specs for your car yet. BTW, what springs and swaybar did you get?

geez, I go looking for my post and it's not there.... so I think to myself, "did i post that or was that all in my head" I start posting it again and then it downs on me... some douche must've moved it!
haha, j/p
As far as specs, I know what I want. If they can put it on a machine and do it, then I'm happy. Alot of dealerships (in my experience) won't touch a lowered car because they can't apply thier factory specs. For some reason they don't understand -2% camber 0 toe front, -.5% camber 0 toe rear. (%=degrees)
But I can try Dennis. Maybe the Owner will see the car there and take it for one last joy ride.
I'm thinking Espiler GT springs as these are the stiffest available. Sway bar is going to be a hotchkis. I'm working with Buschur to get the RobiSpec bump steer as well.
I was actually going to put up a post asking if anybody had some spring compressors and wanted to come over. I can supply the beer!

hmm..i'm down...have done alot of spring installs...i'm not sure i would mess w/ the suspension on and MR though...sway bars yes, *just* springs, the valving won't match the spring rates....an MR has a sweet suspension already...if you want it dropped though i would get new dampers as well, maybe Koni or Bilstein at least a set that has closer matched valving to the springs you'll be getting....i would go w. H&R sports and a set of Bilsteins..those are matched pretty good....and up to par on improving an already nice handling car....either way i'm down for helping!

The MR comes factory with Bilsteins. I noticed a good amount of understeer when I rode in it, thats why I suggested the sway bar. Better tires should be next once the stockers wear out.
