Well they really don't make turbo kits for my ecotec engine..I managed to find one and for the complete set, it comes out to 4400. Does that sound a little high to anyone else? I want to do a turbo setup, but damn, that is hella expensive.

They make turbo AND supercharger kits for the ecotec. check out www.j-body.org or www.rsmracing.com. 4400 is expensive, but you have to expect that for a turbocharger for an unpopular engine.

Yea, dude, I am all over the web..I have been on J-body for a while now. Bunch of fags if you ask me. They bitch about anything..
Anways, the prices that I have been seeing are 4500 for the turbo, and 4700 for the SC. I would go with the TC as it is better..
What does an standard T3 turbo run for? Maybe I can build it piece by piece cheaper.

if you want to do it piece by piece...maybe www.lovefab.com can make you a custom manifold, and www.cheapturbo.com for a t3/t4 pretty cheap.....and the charge pipes you can make yourself..the rest....engine mgmt, injectors, fuel pump and depending on how crazy your going to get, clutch, axles..etc. i'm sure you know where to get those

Well I can get an cheap manifold off of e-bay. They aren't that expensive..rofl. But as far as everything else, I might end up doing it that way. Not sure how much money I want to spend as I know nothing about turbos.

Don't worry. I love asking questions. And since this is my daily driver, I will want it to run right.

Never cut corners on any project you do. It will pay out for you in the long run.
