I havn't known a person yet that hasn't blown one up. You have now. I've owned mine for 3 years, put down over 400whp, run 11's, and have yet to blow a motor. I've exploded a differential dumping the clutch at 5700rpms, but never blown the motor.

The only difficult part is that the motor mounts are different from FC to FD. You could use a 13bt (turboII) ported block, block the water jacket passages to the LIM, going with 2 piece apex seals, replacing the fuel pump and injectors, modifying an FD UIM and LIM to fit, getting a standalone (PowerFC for the FC which is very rare, Motec, Haltech which is trash IMO, or AEM) to switch from MAF to MAP, strapping on a single turbo (T04), and there you go, 400whp!
Sound simple? Your still looking at about $3-5K if you do the work and are very good at scavenging parts.

Rotarys are sweet, but now that youve said it you might want to knock on wood!
