what exactly have you been hearing?....and nothing is wrong with it really...it's awesome for boost....but you have to buy alot of extras...and the cost gets close to that of an AEM...but you still have a piggyback..maybe thats why

It depends what you're trying to do. For simply altering your air/fuel curve it's great and has more adjustability than the S-AFC. It has 3 maps, a 16 X 16 fuel map, boost limiter cut, anti-engine stall, VTEC-fuel adjustment, real-time map trace, real-time display, real-time communication and basic Data-logging. You can also control ignition timing with the optional ignition harness ($35) It's once you start adding all of the accessories available that you should start considering putting your money towards a standalone. It all depends on your goals. Oh yeah, I conveniently have one for sale with software and the injector harness
