I saw a new Civic Si today on 33 in dublin. It looks a lot like the concept car from the auto show. The front looks similiar to the TSX but better looking and the rear is all its own. Overall a good looking car, it had a manufacturer plate so im guessing they were doing some r&d with it. Anybody know when they hit the road?

You can buy the new SI right now. I've seen them at dealerships up here in Toledo. I agree...I think it's a good look that's much improved over the previous SI.

its doubtful we will ever get a type r if you ask me. americans like options...not stripped out and more expensive.

Saw the new SI at the Detroit auto show last Sunday. Nice looking ride. Here are a couple of pictures taken from my phone. Not the best, but you get the idea about the interior. As soon as I figure out how to upload them I will post.

True, but Honda hit much closer to the mark this time than with the last SI, what an ugly bucket that thing was...
I considered buying a Type R Integra back in 01, but decided against it because it was overpriced.... and for the same reason i'm still not interested in the new SI...it's nice, but i'm saving my nickels for either a 1999 3000GT or a 2004 Z06 Corvette...can't decide, Vette if i can afford it next summer for sure though, i'm in love with the Comemorative Edition i just saw at my buddies dealership, but for now i think i'm going to have a TrailBlazer for a while...

Over $22,000 for a civic I would buy an SRT-4 for 3 grand less and put the remaing three grand into it. just my .02
