Heh, I'm back after being gone for a while, been busy with work, and car problems with the AE86. My AE86 is still around, but it's down with engine trouble again... So I went out and bought myself a 2nd car again, a black 1988 Mazda RX-7 convertible It's a bit beat, but it's mine.

I've noticed that. They seem to be rarer, and performance wise, the USDM ones are more suited to touring use in stock form (NA only, heavier but when they aren't all beat up, they're pretty sexy beasts). I'm planning to eventually do the whole Turbo II swap on the car, and I'll probably be saving up after that to transplant the NA motor (and all assorted other things required for a swap, like ECU, wiring harness, a transmission, a custom driveshaft, fabricated motor mounts, etc.) into my AE86. Expensive, but the 13B rotary makes more then enough power to make for a vicious little eight-six

Def. do the TII swap, that'd be so hot! But you'll have to also get the TII hood, it looks SO much better!!

Definately... Hey, would you want a set of wheels for it...they're white, from the 10th Ann. model. 2 tires are bald but the other two have about 75% treadlife left!! You could always paint them if you wanted.... ;D

This is a little off topic but, GSRchick, I saw you I think it was last week on riverside dr. I was there at the Wendys at Riverside and 161 working. I waved but I don't think you saw me, or you thought it was just some guy trying to get your attention. Oh well.

Shit, a few days late, but hey *shrugs* I can't bring either one of my cars out now because the clutch went out on the FC, and the 86's ignition timing is so royally fucked up that it won't stay running at all. I'm thinking of selling the 86 on ebay or locally and buying an AW11 a friend of mine can get me in New York, cause I know I can still get a decent chunk out of some ricer for an AE86 that doesn't need too much to get it running.

AW11 = 1st gen MR2. Turns out the car in question's motor was fucked, didn't bother getting it. Looking into either fixing the AE86, or purchasing a Fiero for a 350 swap now
