hello everybody. I'm new.
been living in columbus since september and I'm into cars. no seriously. music too, but thats not so important.
okay....
So I'm Jack. you can call me Jack, or Shadowfire, or that *A* hole, or whatever you want. I'll answer. I play with cars, at one time professionally, but no more. too many stupid people to make it worth my time so now I spend my time landscaping yards and doing mason work. make better money then I did as a mechanic too.
lets get serious for a sec...
I used to be a mechanic. I've worked on everything from farm tractors to lamborghinis, and turbo everything-under-the-sun (nearly). I'm a fabricator and a machinist by training. I previously built motocross engines for farmboy riders and at one time built my own chassis dyno for dirtbike/ATV use. I play alot with computers-used to build my own but dont have time for it anymore. I love four stroke engines-I own some moderately expensive engine modeling software, I know how to read compressor maps, and I tuned EFI at one of my jobs.it's cool stuff. I got out of it because theres too many rich-daddy kids that think their built integra with 180hp is the fastest thing ever, and too many people who dont know anything about what their modifying or why.
so thats my story. I apologize for being partially incoherant-I just worked a 12 hour day and sweated like crazy. it dosnt get any better. oh, I'd like to thank whoever stuck that CS-R sticker on the no loitering sign at the easton steak-and-shake. you just made my day.
