Ok, maybe not so new now, just the same, I got a new ride!
Just dumped my 06 Trailblazer and upgraded big-time!
It's not a sports car..but it's plenty fast, kinda sporty...this isn't your grand-daddy's Caddy.
2005 Cadillac STS
When I picked her up at Byers
Since I took a new job that has me traveling constantly, I had to get something better for the road. It's not the STS-V Supercharged model, but I'm dressing it up to look sort of like one because I like the way it looks.
At any rate, got it in December when I was home for Christmas and have done a ton to it since.
32v Northstar V8, around 350 Horsepower.
Fully Loaded with all the creature-comforts you'd expect, all the junk I don't need...Voice Activated Navigation, Integrated Bluetooth, Heated and Air Conditioned seats even...it's ridiculous! I'm still reading the manual learning new stuff 6 months later.
Since I got it, i've added mostly cosmetic mods:
STS-V Chrome Mesh Grille from E&G Classics
Chrome Window Pillars
( I debated doing it, there was a small bit of factory chrome along the bottom of the windows. It just looked like it was missing something, these tied the look together. Otherwise I would have gone all black... )
Window Tint by Jeff at Professional Eclipse in Columbus
Limo in the back side windows and rear, 35% on the front driver and passenger.
( My 7th vehicle he has done to date, I couldn't be any happier with his work, he's awesome! Also a car guy with a Ferrari, MG, and various other cars in his collection...)
Sadly, the only "performance" mod to date, a measly K&N drop in filter.
Planned furture upgrades:
Borla Cat-Back Exhaust system
GM OEM Clear, Black & Red tail lenses. (They look insane on a black STS)
Smoked and Clear OEM Third Brake Light
Color matched turn signal lenses
Dream Upgrades: (when my budget and time will allow it)
STS-V Supercharged Powerplant with All-Wheel drive system
Upgraded STS-V Brembo Brake Kit
D3 Performance Engineering Head Upgrade Kit for STS-V
D3 Performance Engineering Stage 3 Supercharger upgrade kit
D3 Performance Engineering Suspension upgrade kit
D3 Performance Engineering lowering springs
D3 Performance Engineering 3-piece custom 22" wheels, color matched in black and chrome.
