i think a more appropriate title would be: The Fast & The Furious: Beating a Dead Horse with Your Ricey Ass Fart Can Exhaust
the only sumwhat redeaming quality about the movie is that it looks like it has at least a few halfway decent cars, being J-Spec 350, Silvia's, Skylines, Supra's ect.

The F&F movies just keep getting worse. I'm sure that the movie will serve to get yet more young, inexperienced drivers out attempting to drift on public streets, parking garages, and crowded parking lots.
speedracerles, Not to start the "Grammar Nazi" stuff on this forum, but Daaaayuuuum Son!?!?!

To put things into perspective, they dropped an SR20 into a 67 Mustang. Thats all that needs to be said.

Well I got to say that it funny because the first one was cool only because it brought the tuner market to the big screen and that was needed now that more people are in to that market but part 2 was dumb as shit the plot was bad and the acting was even more bad .. Im happy that they came out with the movie shot me LoL ... Im working on a srciped of my own and its better then any movie that has came out thust far.....

It completely fucks up the natural balance of the car.

It completely fucks up the natural balance of the car. Not really! The LS1 motor weighs no more than 100 lbs more than a 13B. That means that the balance is shifted from 50/50 to 51.6/48.4. Something that is easily put back to 50/50 by simple relocations of the battery, or the removal of the AC, or a few unimportant parts removed from the front end.

The Mustang probably has a 60F/40R weight balance, dont quote me on that. Taking the extra 100 pounds off the front of that car would give it a better weight distribution. Because this is a drifting movie wouldnt you want a car that is well balanced? it will make the transition from a left turn to a right turn less harsh. In my eyes making the cars handling more neutral is not Ricey its more Racey. I like the Idea of the sr20 in the stang.

I was under the impression that the rotory weighed significantly less than the LS1... Learned something new today.

I have a natural respect for the rarity and beautiy of classic cars, and thats murder in my eyes.
