Well winter is approaching, so it's time to think about what you want to do for your car for next year. Now is the time to save that money for that next upgrade or to fix that problem you've been neglecting all summer. That way your car is running for the summer time when you need it the most. Obviously my plans include rebuilding my motor but also taking care of any other maintenance issues with the car. New front brake pads, change all the fluids, new set of street tires and wheels and a set of slicks for autox on the current wheels. Doing this now will allow me to enjoy another full season of autox without missing any events because of problems with the car. I'm looking forward to next year already.

I plan on replacing my lift bolts with the 02+ celica ones, new exhuast, and maybe a short shifter.

A short shifter on that car? Those have a pretty short throw as it is. Ben, are you gonna get the ecu redone so the tranny will quit upshifting too soon?

well since my dad is being a dick and wont give me my damn car, despite complaining about it being a coupe everyday, i have a feeling itll be a birthday present. newayz, by next spring i would at least like to have headlights, intake, and exhaust on. rims, tires, springs, and tails r gonna have to wait till i get a lot more cash, and hopefully the rims will be cheaper by then....right now they are running 1350 w/ tires. heres a pic: thats all for now - Ben

yeah, those wheels will look good on there if they are in 18's or 19's i see new accord coupes come into hugh white all the time with 17's and the wheels just look too small. im seeing your gonna put headlights and tails on it? al-jazeera taillights do not look good on the new accords, actually i dont think i have ever seen aftermarket tailights that dont look ricey....and if you decide to go with exhaust, and intake go with the right parts, aem V2 intake, and either a greddy or comptech exhaust...no ricey fart can shat!....other than that, i like that car, and im interested in seeing what you do with it...sorry if you dont like constructive criticism. thats just what i think

thanx ben....any criticism is appreciated. the headlights do look good, ive seen them in person....i plan on getting the black housing. as far as the tails go, i would also go with the black housing, and although ive never seen them in person, the pics ive seen dont look that bad. if nothing else, ill get them on and decide, if i dont like them, i can take them out or black them over this paint stuff, which ive seen and looks pretty good. as far as the rims go, yes they will be 18's, which are still going to look small until I get my Eibach springs on there which is gonna drop it bout 1.5 inches. AEM V2 was the only intake ive ever had in mind, ive heard one and its loud and deep, sounds amazing. exhaust im stuck on....id like to get a Greddy Evo2, but at the same time, i can get an Apex'i WS or WSII for about 300 bucks cheaper and those arent bad systems either, thats still up in the air. i just wanna get my hands on the car and get sum of this stuff done. ill try to have as much done by next summer as i can so we shall see how it goes.....and ill keep my eyes out for a cheap used SC for ya....from one Accord connesuier to another.

Don't forget to winterize yourself and your car. Now is the time to buy the deicer washer fluid and scraper. Have your battery checked so you dont end up stranded in the cold weather in the cold. Keep some warm gloves with you as well for scraping the ice off. Think ahead and watch the weather reports so you know what to expect. If there's going to be ice then flip up your windshield wipers when you park so they aren't frozen to your window and make sure you dont wash the car right before it gets really cold and your doors get frozen shut. If this happens get some room tempurature water and poor it over the door seams and this should help melt it, just wipe them off once you get the door open so they dont freeze again. A few precautions like this will save you a lot of headaches.
