As the title says: Which small performance car would you pick? The category is small cars in the low to mid $20k price range though 1 or 2 might be a little more. Which do you think is the best for the dollar? Vote, then let us know why you think that car is the best.

Of these cars the WRX is my choice. They're a good platform with lots of aftermarket and lots of potential for whatever you want to do with the car.

my choice would be the Acura RSX Type-S. i chose this car because it also has a HUGE selection of aftermarket parts available (its an integra for christ sake)....that and although it might not be RWD or AWD, if you put the same accessories on the motor that are on an WRX or SRT-4 the car would be just as fast if not faster. also, i think the overall look of the car is awesome, the 01-04 RSX is beautiful, but i think the 05 is even better with projectors and nice tails right outta the factory, but plus more power. the only thing i would like to see done to this platform is a possible AWD drivetrain and maybe a factory turbo option. if acura did these the RSX Type-S would easily compete with the Evo and the STi

I chose the WRX. It's easily modded to be a very very fast car. I sure as hell won't vote for a dodge, and I'm still not impressed with the RSX. It's nice...but not enough for me. My second choice would be a Mini Cooper S...but only if it was modded like the ones in Italian Job!

Cooper. Not the fastest, not the slowest, but the most fun to drive. Thats all that should matter.

Sorry, I stuck with current cars that are in production, I'm not sure if the MR2 would be in the price category with these?
