Yep, pretty much. The housing and car industry is set to make a big move once the economy picks up a bit more, so it would be a good move to start one now...the DOW just broke 11k points yesterday, the highest point the stock market has hit in i think 4-5 years, so things are looking up.

It's not necessarily the funding, I am looking for some talent really. Someone experienced that can fabricate and do swaps, etc. and/or a sales manager. I have several directions to go and it depends on the location of the business as to how I progress. I don't mind opening a retail store but labor is where the real money is at...and I need a place to work on a race car, thinking Honda Challenge or IT. I already have the parts connections and can get most anything with a phone call. I also have some other things planned for this year.

I agree, there are more shops in Columbus now than there were a few years ago and everyone wants to open up a shop. Most people cannot because of money or they do and go out of business. Which seems to be a pattern in Columbus. Then depending on the work done and the tools needed, it gets very expensive to operate. Columbus is not the mecca of imports and cannot support very many shops anyways. I could always get a cheap office just to get out. Then I could do mail order and for local work do it out of peoples garages....but that is not professional.

I am also looking for one or two people who are able to attend every Blitz Friday Night Street Fights at National Trails this year. One of the cars must race every event, the other car can be used for show or race. The owners must have the ability to complete their vehicle before the first race and keep it running all year. Prior racing experience necessary. Also looking for someone who drifts at Kil-Kare or other tracks. (Tracks! The parking lots at Easton don't count) Email me at tyrone@minzutoracing.com and include the following: 1. Experience 2. Car 3. List of races planned.

Good point, thanks. I will have a banner up at National Trails this year and they will be making 1-3 crowd annoucements per event. If I have a cars there, I may be able to display them and people can walk by and check out the cars and see what I have to offer. The business name is Minzuto Racing and it's been a hobby the past 3 years. I am looking to leave my full-time job soon and make the move to selling parts and other services full-time.
