First you will want to register online @ www.ovr-scca.org This will get you and your info setup with scca. You can check the schedule here on csr or on scca's site. You can just show up to an event but be early because they only take 30 onsite registrations, online registration ensures you will be able to race. Once your registered show up at the event and check in with registration and then tech in your car. I will be at the next event on the 29th, if you like I can meet you there and show you the ropes. I have a thread with some info and the schedule posted in here so check that out. If you need any more help let me know.

There should be a link to www.myautoevents.com Look for the date of the 29th and you'll find the event listed for OVR. You have to register on that site first but it only takes a few mins. If you don't have a credit card to pay online then click on the option of "worker" I think it is and put in the notes that you will pay cash at the event. I've been talking to Becky to try and make a little easier to register and have the option to pay at the event for those of us that dont have credit cards to pay online. You can just show up at the event but if you do be there between 7 and 730 am.

Scca region is "OVR" You need to pick a number for your car, they tell you to pick 3 in case your first choice is taken. Like if you were in the "SM" class, my number is 79 so you would have to pick a different one just like how the cars are numbered in any racing.

It's hard to say what class you'll be in but I don't think you'd be in a street prepared class. When you get there sunday ask for who would know what class you'll be in with your mods. I'm guessing sts or sm unless you have something specific that would put you in a prepared class. We'll find out.

Make sure your car is in good running order. They're going to check under the hood for anything loose like oil cap or your battery is tied down. Also make sure your not leaking anything. If your on street tires they need to have a legal amount of tread and such. If you have anything loose in the car take it out. I take my sub and trunk contents for each race. Go the night before and make sure your tires have the right pressure in them. Mostly is to have fun, don't make a big deal if your lap times aren't great. I find I am faster whan I just relax and go around the track and not worry about every detail. If you don't know your way around there just come find me and I'll show you where to check in and get teched. My Laser is blue with black wheels on it, you can't miss it.
