How to post a picture on CSR
How about an avatar?
Follow the directions above, and take the "URL" of your file hosted on photobucket, or imageshack, or wherever. Click "profile" at the top of CSR and click "modify profile" at the top. Scroll down to the "avatar URL" field. Paste the URL of the image in that field, and press "modify profile" at the bottom. Bam youre done! If the image doesnt look right, play with the width and height until it does. Your avatar cant be any larger than 100x100.
- Go to www.photobucket.com and set up an account. This will allow you to upload your own collection of images to an online account. Images cannot be seen by others on the internet unless its hosted by one of these companies.
- After the image is uploaded, it will give you 3 different fields. URL, TAG, and IMG. The first field is just the direct URL that you post if you want someone to click on a link, and it will bring them to the webpage.
The second field is used for HTML. Dont worry about that field unless you know what it is.
The third URL is an IMG tag that is used on most message boards including this one. Just copy the entire IMG code and paste it in a new thread or a reply on CSR and the image will just show up in your thread without anyone having to click on anything. - Youre done!
