First YOU should decide what type of header you want... so do a little research.
I personally have a 4-1 header that was Stainless Steel until Brad and i sprayed it with some DH1606, which i do recommend because it will reflect heat a lot better then regular stainless will. On a Honda/Acura i would say get a 4-1 instead of a 4-2-1 unless you want to build more ponies in the bottom end, however this is kind of futile since most Acuras and Hondas reach their power bands in the upper rpms’ after you hit VTEC. Also keep in mind that large primaries are not always a plus on N/A but a large collector is. So if you want to replace your stock cat, I would get something that has a 2.5” collector then either get a high flow cat or you could use a test pipe. The downfalls of a test pipe are that they are loud and they smell bad. And the downfall of a high flow cat is that it cost about 10 times more then a test pipe.
Unfortunately I don’t know of anyone who has one for sale, you should try looking on the Honda-tech classifieds or maybe an Acura CL forum. I can also tell you that my header made the largest gain out of all 3 bolt on.
Hope this helps.

k, i have done research, i used to have dc sports ceramic 4-2-1's on my integra which sounded good, and i want somthing a little more mello than like apc "pissed off blender" sound i would like to stick with either greddy or dc-sports...no pace setter or any of that stuff...what kinda 4-1 hedders do you have and do they sound good, and what kinda response did you feel, was it even noticable? thanks B

I have a dc sports 4-1 header, Greddy is awesome and worth the money if you have it. Yet I feel there is good value with the Dc Sport brand. I installed the intake first (J’s racing) then the header (DC-S 4-1) and my exhaust (Greddy Evo2) the day after that. To be honest I felt little but some gain after the header install, mixed with the intake. But the next day when I installed the exhaust I felt a significant gain. However with just the header and the intake it felt as though I was being choked up in the higher RPMs. You can ask Brad as well because he drove it and felt the same thing. So I do understand that out of the three bolt ons I/H/E that the header gives the most gains, but you still need to match it up and let everything flow throughout IMO.
Basically this is what I felt, to the best of my knowledge and in the order I did the mods..
My intake gave me maybe 3-5 whp Header did probably about 4-6 whp, total 7-11 Exhaust felt like 6-8 whp , total 13-19. Most likely around 15

APC is neither democracy, or anarchy, it’s Capitalism. And the capital C stands for CRAP.
And I have no problem matching my dc sports header to my greddy evo2, but I kept my stock cat, for now. However my plans for the future is to get a header with a 2.5” collector then a high flow cat.

O and that set-up would work fine, however IMO get a 4-1 header this time.

APC is really working on their quality. I got to see first hand a carbon fiber hood they put out for the FD RX-7.. It felt and looked pretty good.

Blaspheme; APC can work on their quality all they want, but they still make shitty ricer products. Personally I hope all the altezzas they produce are cheap and fall apart; fuck it I hope they catch fire, and burn up the ricers back end. OOOO NNOOOEESS my precious awesome tail lights, and glowing led exhaust tip.

do you have the v-6 or is it the 2.2 ? if it's the F22 your short on options, i would definatly go w/ a 4-2-1 not a 4-1 the F22 doesn't rev high enough to see gains from a 4-1, you would lose a little tq. as well. the 4-2-1 will gain tq and hp the tq being the best gain. comptech makes an awesome one for the v-6....more than a grand though, but well worth it imo, check DC sports for one for the F22
