ok, so i bought a 98 accord v6 with my insurance check, and im trying to figure out what the best mods would be to do, so far i have had the car for 3 days and have done an exhaust, greddy evo dual exhaust, aem intake. I am thinking of ajustable cam gears, headers, and a comptech supercharger. anybody know of any decent/ cheap mods i can pop on for a little extra bit of power? anything would help...B

If you need to replace your accessory belts pop on a crank pulley at least. Should give 5-10 hp. I personally don't think the other pulley's are neccessary but do look good. I'm sure you can find somebody to port your throttle body. Before you do forced induction make sure your stock fuel system can handle it. You may need to get bigger injectors, and pump unless they're included with the supercharger. There's lots of things you can do.

Best mod for that car is a can of gasoline and a match.

Spray it would be the best bang for the buck. Put a 50 shot on it and call it a day. Or I would do what Dr Zo6 said as well

as far as mods for the Accord V-6 go....your best options are as follows: SC (because no turbo exists, otherwise id pick that), build the bottom of the motor, and get all your internals done. skunk2 cams, new throttle body, bigger injectors, AEM cam gears, high flow cat, cat-back exhaust, new pistons....combine all of the above, then get it all tuned. that would be your best route, but leave the spray off of there. itll ruin a perfectly good engine

i happen to have a great idea of what im talking about. although it may not have come across that clear. my basic point was to build your motors internals first, then throw on the FI, get it tuned. and for honda, that is the way to go....maybe not on your car but for us, yes.

Yes hondas are so different. Again modding an accord is about the dumbest thing ever. I would rather mod a hyundai. I can sit here all day and discuss tuning. Long term fuel trims, tip in, knock voltage, what ever you want. I am also extreemly versed in machine work and motor building. So please in the most techinical way possible please tell me why the spray will ruin the motor. Please.
