A 4L is a bigger motor than what they run in F1 Their running a 3L V10 and make over 1,000 hp/ft-lbs unrestricted They run around 900 hp so they dont spin the tires off the car(and so they don't have to pit every 1 or 2 laps) So just because it's only a 4L don;t mean it can't make power not that it will make that much in a factory produced car but the possibilty is there

But what honda actually puts into production is always drasticallyd ifferent than their F1 cars. I guess only time will tell and we will see.

it would be nice to see this new model with 400 to 500 hp and keep it about the same price give the viper a run for it's money in that price range. plus it could be fast enough to run with the ford gt, saleen s7, vetts, and vipers, that is if honda can get over it's little problem making torque. this new "nsx" could be one hell of a car if they do it right

I dunno, their main competition is the Ferrari 430, and that's a lot to compete with.

yeah thats a lot to take on but i think the potential is there if they do it right i don't expect it right out of the box but give them some time and it might just be possible to turn it in to a true high power exotic given the right amount of time also provied they do endup making this car but only time can tell

They slammed Ferrari when the NSX first came out, Ferrari awnsered with the 360. I'm curious to see how Honda will awnser to the 430, it's a beast.

this article in Automobile mag (yes the mag who's title is automobile not some random auto magaizne)a couple months ago with the ford gt and a Ferrari 575, 430, and a 360 mondea(spell??) and the ford beat the 575 and the 430(the 360 was the street version of the race model but still the ford stayed with it in every competition) so they might want to make their new "nsx" their version of the gt

hey im retarted i forgot to sign in last night(doesnt help when your half wasted)but yeah i havent heard to much about the gt breaking down i know they brought some back cuz the control arm wasnt strong enough to handle the stress put on it when cornering hard on a track (or if dumb enough to risk your $150,000+ car buy doing it on some street) thats about the only problem i've heard of (the doors also suck ass )

Good point Chris, the NSX is as reliable as a Camry. I wouldn't compare the C6 to the NSX, 2 very different cars, and the Ford GT is a hella lot more expensive.
