I will admit, I participate in some spirited driving on the street. But after seeing this on streetfire, I'm gonna be sure to leave it on the track!!

I did some research on the guy in the video. Turns out he wasn't even the driver. Apparently he had just helped his friend install some new mod on his SRT-4, and they had gone out to test the car out, there was also another passenger sitting in the back too.

If there's anything that can be learned from a wreck like that, it's that you should take it easy on the streets after installing any new mods until you take the time to adjust to how it changes your car's behavior.

Personally, I usually refuse to do anything like that with other people in my car. And I only "race" on empty streets.
Still, it took me awhile before really wanting to push a car and I have learned a lot from driving. This is just something where you hope others dont repeat.

One question though? Were they actually racing someone or did the kid just lose control? I knew a kid I grew up with back when I lived in Philly, he was with his friend in the kids BMW(i dont know why he had a bmw), the friend had just gotten his license the day before. He lost control around a turn and the three people in the car died.

People just need to learn how to drive safely, I won't say I'm an expert. But I try as hard as I can to be safe.

i friend of mine up here in delaware died last year. he took his integra around a turn @ 110+. rear end got loose, and he hit trees @ the top of the turn. hell, he grew up racing carts, and eventually cars, and it couldn't save him. juss goes to show that anyone can be killed in a car @ any time.

Sad story, but people need to keep in mind that cars are about as much of a toy as a gun, fun when used with respect
